DJI MATRICE 200 SERIES NEXUS RECOVERY SYSTEM

The Nexus system is designed  to enable operations over people. We have spent thousands of hours in development, testing, and engineering to continuously refine the technologies that make our system work and create a reliable product for our customers that is unmatched to any system currently on the market. Indemnis is a safety Partner with DJI and the Nexus is DJI approved hardware.

The Nexus Features both a Manual Deployment and an Autonomous deployment System. The Nexus auto deployment system allows for a faster recovery of the drone during a failure. Once the failure has been detected  the Nexus system will deploy within .03 seconds. Allowing the parachute to escape any failure scenario.

 

THE NEXUS SYSTEM BY INDEMNIS IS THE FIRST UAV RECOVERY SYSTEM TO BE PROVEN RELIABLE IN ANY FAILURE SITUATION.

 

The Nexus for the M200 requires a dealer install to install the software/hardware board into their DJI Matrice 200, this service can be performed by the nearest Nexus dealer.  After the initial install the nexus can be removed from the drone in less than 30 seconds and reattached in the same amount time allowing you to use their existing case for storage and transport

The System for the DJI Matrice 210 is a simple plug and play and does not require any factory installation.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL?

Installation of the Nexus on the DJI m210 is a simple Plug and Play. With simple quick release clamps and a USB to the port on the Back of the Drone.

* The M200 requires installation of the FTS by a certified service center. After the initial installation the Nexus can be camped on and off within 30 seconds for easy tral and storage
 

DOES NEXUS INTERFERE WITH AIRCRAFT GPS?

The Nexus System does not interfere with any of the Matrice 200/210 sensors, GPS, or camera attachments.

DOES THE CHUTE EJECT AUTOMATICALLY?

The Nexus system for the DJI M200/210 has both an automatic failure detection system and a manual deployment system. The automatic deployment system will detect a failure allowing for the Parachute to deploy within 10 feet of the failure occurring. The Manual deployment System allows the Pilot to asses the situation and deploy the parachute if there is no other option of bringing the UAV down safely.

 

HOW MUCH ALTITUDE DOES THE DRONE LOSE BEFORE DEPLOYMENT?

The Nexus automatic detection software will recognize the failure deploying the parachute with in 10 feet of the failure. the Nexus will deploy in .03 seconds catching the drone  and bringing it safely to the ground.

WHAT IS THE DESCENT RATE?

The Nexus by Indemnis qualifies for category 2 operations at an average descent speed of 3.21 meters per second and an impact that is less than 12 ft lbs.

HOW IS THE NEXUS POWERED?

The Nexus has an internal battery  that can be charged before Flight. The nexus also pulls a small charge from the USB on the DJI M200/210  allowing it to stay charged  during flight.


HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST ON THE NEXUS MINI?

The Battery for the Nexus has a 3 hour use time.

WILL THE NEXUS MINI GUARANTEE MY DRONE WILL

NOT BE DAMAGED?

The Nexus recovery system is designed to greatly diminish the impact energy of your aircraft, reducing damage to a minimum.

CAN THE NEXUS MINI SYSTEM BE REPACKED AND REUSED?

The Nexus system is a certified ballistic system and can not be user serviced. The system must be sent to a certified  Nexus service center. Indemnis provides a hot swap program for users  to minimize downtime for your operations.

HOW LONG IS THE NEXUS UNDER WARRANTY AND WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

WITH THE NEXUS SYSTEM CAN I FLY OVER PEOPLE?

The system is ASTM certified and approved for Flight over people through Transportation Canada and is a certified System to help acquire a waiver through the FAA.
